Biblical Counseling
Welcome
Whether you are considering counseling for yourself, a loved one, or a friend, it’s important to find counsel you can trust.
At liberti, we believe that man was created to bear the image of God. The bearing of God’s image is to be directed towards our Creator and our neighbor. We believe that all of life, including our gifts, capacities and endowments as well as actions, behavior, thought-pattern, emotions, and relationships are called to bear His image. We believe that all of life is connected to relationship with our Creator or a created thing. The Scripture ultimately points us to a person and a relationship – Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer.
We believe that God created us with a body and a heart (mind, soul, spirit). Our goal is to provide you with holistic healing that comes from hope in Christ. In counseling, we seek to understand the wide variety of shaping influences that test our hearts. These influences might be considered as physiological or relational. We address these pressures and help you respond in ways that are honoring to God and loving to your neighbors.
The counselors of liberti have been formally trained to counsel and are committed to bring in biblical perspective as they themselves have experienced the need for gospel change in their lives. Scripture is used as our moral compass (2 Tim. 3:16) knowing that God reveals Himself in and through the life experiences of people. Our counselors seek to understand the use of Scripture how what was applied directly to others and how it applies now to us as well in our time and culture. We believe that a person cannot fully understand oneself or one’s situation without a biblical perspective. Neither can someone understand one’s situation without understanding oneself as a sinner who is saved by grace.
We seek to provide you with counseling suited for individuals, couples, and families.
“I have been touched by the overwhelming interest that Liberti takes in my current situation. I have learned much from my counselor who has always been available for me and my loved ones. I feel that I am both growing as a person and growing in Christ.“ – counselee
“Through the work of the Holy Spirit, counseling has been instrumental in letting me experience God’s grace and uncondemning love in helping me face my sexual past, experience forgiveness and live in grace day by day” – counselee
“Counseling isn’t easy, but it’s necessary in order for one to grow and serve God and others most effectively. It is a freeing experience that is well worth the incredible effort one must put forth to allow for God’s healing hand. Without making this difficult and courageous stride, I would never have been who Christ created me to be nor been able to fully exercise the gifts God has blessed me with.” – counselee
