“We love because he first loved us”

“We love because he first loved us” 1 John 4:19 NRSV

Dear Friends,

Support comes in a variety of ways, and this past year would not have been possible without you! Your decision to bless me, my family, and my calling to serve the Philadelphia region is no Small Thing! While this work has its challenges, our family aims to celebrate all the small things that make up our days.

Vito continues to establish the food distribution and operations of Small Things. He also works with the Liberti Network and church partners to provide service opportunities in the Philadelphia region. Vito has been diligent in spending more time with his family, fly fishing, and fostering a passion for coffee (or hot chocolate) in his girls.

Amrah is busy working part-time as an adjunct professor for Salus University overseeing their orientation and mobility internships as well as teaching travel skilled to people with visual impairments. She also stays busy trying to keep track of all the family members. In her free time, she loves sowing and crafting making gifts, and doing projects with the girls.

Abrielle (4.5) started preschool this year and has announced her favorite things are eating lunch and playing with her friends. She loves to visit daddy's warehouse and help pack food boxes. She does not like to color but can be found shredding paper, gluing objects, and wrapping herself in tape. She is also learning to sew. Additionally, she started ballet and taekwondo, recently earning her yellow belt.

Seraphina (2) has found her voice and can hold her own! She rivals her sister for speed on her scooter, climbs and jumps off any structure around, and her favorite thing to do is kick and throw a ball. She started soccer and screams, "Soccer! Kick! Score! No hands!" She is attuned to detail and will color or paint on any surface she can find. As this letter was written, she has redecorated the playroom walls.

When things are quiet, Abrielle is cutting something with scissors, Seraphina is drawing on the walls with a permanent marker, and Vito... is only quiet when sleeping.

We pray that you will join us in finding joy in all the big and small things of the upcoming year!

Love,

The Baldini’s
